I was recently encouraged (in a not so subtle way) to blog.  I recieved an email that only contained a single link with no explanation.

I don't think I agree with everything said but I do agree that I have things to say that can help people with their application of computer technology.  I have many years of screw-ups to rely on for what NOT to do.  I have even encountered some success along the way that may be able to help someone.  I also have my own unique spin on things that may be of value to someone somewhere.

There is certainly more in the realm of what I don't know than the realm of what I do know.  I don't want to let what I don't know, stop me from using what I do know.   In this space I will try to stay in the realm of what I do know.  Sometimes I don't even know where that line is.  So just toss out the crap (pardon the expression) and keep the useful stuff.

That is my first tidbit of possibly useful stuff.  You should always "toss out the crap and keep the useful stuff" whenever you look at information.  You can learn something useful from nearly every encounter you have.  Be it website, person or newspaper article.  You should probably never assume that a source of information is either all crap or all useful.

Don't forget to check out the "Origins of Brillnat" for the explanation of our Brillnat name.
